Valley Vision Ranch, is a family owned multi-faceted ranch that focuses on serving people with what we've been given. We believe that local, sustainable farming and agriculture is a must for the future of our world and our health, and we believe we have been called to be part of the solution of healing our land and healing our bodies!
Job 38:1, Job 39:19-24 "Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said... Have you given the horse strength? Have you clothed his neck with thunder? Can you frighten him like a locust? His majestic snorting strikes terror. He paws in the valley, and rejoices in his strength; He gallops into the clash of arms. He mocks at fear, and is not frightened; Nor does he turn back from the sword. The quiver rattles against him, The glittering spear and javelin. He devours the distance with fierceness and rage; Nor does he come to a halt because the trumpet has sounded."
"Horsemanship is the art of mastering our own movements, thoughts, emotions and behavior" ~Ray Hunt

TRAINING:
Training and working with horses is like learning to overcome life's obstacles. How we address and confront issues in life such as fear, control, impatience and misunderstanding, directly correlate with how we interact with our horse and sometimes this interaction needs some help, or even a "re-start." Using methods heavily influenced by the vaquero-style cowboy tradition, we take horses on a month-by-month basis. In an effort to build and create a new language built on trust, we look to establish a healthy working relationship between the horse and owner. We encourage the owner to come and watch training sessions, learn about this new relationship so that they can be as much a part of the effort towards change as the horse himself.
